I have often thought about writing but never knew where to start, however a couple of conversations brought me to write a blog. So with considerable techie help from my husband, here goes.
I have, maybe not a passion for but certainly a strong interest in a variety of areas. Conservation, travel, camping, outdoor stuff & VW campervans. No, correction. I definitely have a passion for some of these? Definitely the campers. And camping. And travel. And...and.... Ok it's more than an interest. Anyway, I love to cook and bake. I run a small cake business called Fairy Free Cakes specialising in cakes, brownies and cookies for people with allergies, intolerances and or vegans. They taste rather good even if I do say so myself. No need to take my word for it though, there is always a cake or 2 popping up at a get together. Oh and my shopping list is best friends with Lidl & Aldi. I can't stand high street stores or window shopping (I just don't understand that at all) but will happily wander around markets, junk shops & especially charity shops for a few hours. I do love a bargain, as my house & wardrobe will testify. When I say bargains, I don't mean 10-20% off. For me no less than 60-90% will do if I can possibly manage it - yes I haggle when I can, therefore thrifty is a way of life for me. In fact I break out in a state of panic if I have to pay full price for anything, although actually my husband says if I can get something for free rather than paying for it at all, then all the better. - If you know where to look it's amazing what you can find!
So here are bits & pieces I've learnt, experienced, will continue to discover in this rich tapestry of life, & perhaps share a little wisdom along the way.
